DFW Airport reopens, parts of Ark-La-Tex still without power

UNDATED (KSLA) – An ice storm briefly closed Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) Airport, but airport officials now report Tuesday that the runways are now back open and service is slowly returning to normal.
Officials encourage any travelers who had flights scheduled to or through Dallas-Ft. Worth Airport Tuesday there likely will be delays, so check ahead.
AEP SWEPCO also reports several parts of the Ark-La-Tex without power as of 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Most of the reported outages are in East Texas and Louisiana. Counties in East Texas reporting outages include; Wood County, Gregg County, Rusk County, Harrison County.
In Louisiana: Caddo Parish, Bossier Parish and Red River Parish.
Now AEP SWEPCO now reports outages in Hempstead County.
